CONFIDENCES URBAINES - Les territoires sont des gens comme les autres
A unique and original exhibition offering visitors the chance to discover the principles and methodology of urban psychoanalysis as conceived by the ANPU, and the study carried out in Le Mans since 2017. Admission: free
A unique and groundbreaking exhibition offering an insight into the principles and methodology of urban psychoanalysis as conceived by the ANPU, and the study carried out in Le Mans since 2017.
At a time when cities are undergoing rapid transformations — ecological, social and political — new narratives and methods are emerging to understand them in a different light.
The exhibition ‘Confidences urbaines’ presents a unique and unconventional approach to the urban fabric: psychoanalysis applied to territories.
Conceived as an immersive experience that is at once sensory, critical and poetic, this exhibition invites visitors to shift their perspective on the city and architecture, viewing them no longer merely as technical or functional objects, but as subjects shaped by desires, repressions, contradictions and imaginations.
The exhibition stems from a desire to make visible and shareable a body of work that has, until now, often taken the form of events or performances.
An exhibition conceived by:
Clémence Jost, alias Agent Jost, psycho-watercolourist and endearing production coordinator (ANPU)
Fabienne Quémeneur, meta-driller and performer, head of the F.É.E. (ANPU)
In collaboration with the team at La Fabrique – Rêves de Ville and co-produced with Le Mans Métropole.
Guided tours of the exhibition and other activities, free of charge upon registration, will be offered as part of the exhibition programme.
