Journées Européennes Patrimoine - Enclos du Vieux Château

Come and explore the grounds of the old castle during the European Heritage Days on 19 and 20 September 2026.

The programme will feature a wide range of activities centred on history, heritage and traditional crafts: medieval combat demonstrations, archery, wooden games, pony rides and circus performances. Visitors will also be able to discover local craftspeople and artists, enjoy medieval music and meet local organisations. The Bouquinerie de Pouancé will be open to the public for this special occasion, whilst an archaeological exhibition area will offer an insight into the town’s buried heritage.
