Cinéma Sonore Radio France - La création sonore en son immersif
As part of Le Mans Sonore
Sit back and close your eyes. The session begins. The sound envelops you. A voice appears, then another. You are immersed in the sound and in the story being told. This is Radio France's sound cinema. An hour of listening without images, but which transports you.
For several years now, Radio France has been offering public listening to radio programmes in immersive sound.
How do you write sound? How do you play with space to carry the listener away? How do you design and produce programmes that work both for individual listening via podcast and for groups in a venue like the Dôme?
A session illustrated with extracts from immersive productions broadcast in the Dôme.
