Do you know Loupio, the comic strip hero created by Jean-François Kieffer? This young orphan troubadour has already won the hearts of millions of readers with his adventures full of courage and joie de vivre. Now we're bringing this endearing character to life on stage, in a musical that promises to delight families.
In this show, Loupio tells the children of Assisi about his extraordinary encounters and discoveries along the way. Dialogue, dance and song unfold beneath a backdrop projected onto a large screen: magnificent scenes come to life to the rhythm of the songs, giving the audience the impression that they too are in Assisi, at the time of Saint Francis.
The 20 songs in the show are performed by a talented artistic team: Jean-François Kieffer himself - a lute player like his hero -, actor Gérard Rouzier, thirteen children and young people from the choir "Les Amis de tous les enfants du monde" (Douai) and flutist-percussionist Bruno Ortega.
This musical comedy will leave every child with unforgettable images and refrains that will never leave them!
