Put on your walking shoes for a short 6km hike. Along the way, discover the former gravel pits of Montreuil, a Sensitive Natural Area identified in Anjou, which have now become bodies of water home to a rich biodiversity.

The Montreuil-sur-Loir gravel pits are former aggregate extraction areas that have now become lakes. Nature has gradually reclaimed its rights. Large populations of water birds nest on the site, particularly on the small islands.

The communal Bretonnières ponds are open to the general public. They have been developed for walks, fishing and picnics, and are dedicated to biodiversity.
