Horse races and equestrian events in Challain-la-Potherie on Saturday 16 May 2026.

Come and enjoy a festive and convivial day around horses and traditions!

The village will come alive to the rhythm of a grand equestrian parade, where horses and riders will parade to the majestic sounds of hunting horns. Throughout the day, young and old alike will be able to watch draught horse and pony races, as well as a host of medieval activities specially designed for children.
Fun games and activities will round off the family programme. In the evening, it's time to indulge in a convivial meal of grilled pigs, followed by spectacular torchlight races as night falls. The festivities will then continue with a musical evening to round off the day in a warm and festive atmosphere.
