A keen astrophotographer since his retirement, Jean-Pierre Frobert turned to this demanding discipline – which combines patience, precision and wonder – almost by chance. Night after night, he has captured the Moon’s many facets – its surface features, the play of light and the spectacular eclipses that punctuate the life of the heavens.
