The story (totally true, I promise) of a comedian in Iceland who runs for mayor to make fun of political promises... and takes power in the process...
His programme? Promise anything and everything. For free. No guarantees. Just like the others - except that he takes responsibility.
What starts out as a giant joke turns into an improbable democratic experiment. Between zombie parties, acid-fuelled town councils and citizens taking the microphone, the joke turns serious... or the other way round.
An explosive, jubilant punk comedy?
Come and laugh. It could become a civic act.
