Mardi du Patrimoine : Visite du Moulin du Bourg

A former milling site, now an energy production site, in the midst of a renaissance.

The Moulin du Bourg in Parcé-sur-Sarthe, which dates back to the year 1000 and was founded in feudal times, underwent major development from the 18th to the early 20th century, first as a flour mill and then for the production of electricity. The mill is now the subject of a restoration project faithful to its state at the beginning of the XXᵉ century in order to bring back to life its wheels and this major witness to local history. A hydroelectricity project is underway.
