La Fête Interculturelle

The 37th edition of the Intercultural Festival in the southern districts brings together services, associations and residents who have prepared a programme combining leisure, gastronomy, culture and musical discovery, punctuated by a fireworks display.

Just imagine: you're in the southern districts of Le Mans, taking a leisurely stroll, the sky is blue, the birds are singing and you can hear something in the distance. Music! You're approaching the Plaine du Ronceray, and that's where it's coming from. The further you go, the more you hear people milling about, the music gets livelier and livelier, and then there's the lovely smell of food!
This is it: the Intercultural Festival! A green setting between the buildings, bustling with a wide variety of activities to suit all tastes. Here, games for the little ones. Over there, food and drink. A little further on, the stage for amateur artists of all kinds during the afternoon and the famous evening concert! There are also games for all ages, an information area on our rights and solidarity associations, a refreshment bar and live entertainment! And if you stay until nightfall, you'll be dazzled by the fireworks!
There are more and more people every year, but above all there are people of all ages and cultures. It's great to see that there are still places where everyone can live together, whatever their age, origins, beliefs or habits.
This year, we'll once again be putting on a show to make both young and old laugh, with even more catering associations to tempt every taste bud, and always a crazy atmosphere for everyone to enjoy together! And there's a new feature: the youth area will be open until 9.30pm so they can all have a good time!
So there you have it, it wasn't planned, you were just passing by. Now that you've been there, all you want to do is pass on the joy of sharing and getting together to everyone around you. And the best way to do that is to come along on 30 May from 12.30pm on the Plaine du Ronceray!
- 12.30 p.m. - Opening of the Festival and catering area (until 10.30 p.m.)
- 2pm-6pm - Activities in the Family, Intergenerational, Rights Information, Solidarity and Youth sections by the associations and structures of the organising collective

A show for all the family! With theatre, music and puppets! Chance, adventure, the unknown! and more! Try your luck with Bingo Baraka!
6.30pm - 9pm // DJ set - Zone Secouss // La Chignole
This year DJ Sharklo will be rocking the youth booom!
9pm // Concert - Scéne // Balaphonics
This band of musicians will be on hand to concoct a spicy mix of makossa, highlife, ethio-groove and Congolese rumba. It's going to be dancing!
10.30pm // Fireworks - Zone en feu
Non-negotiable, unmissable, incredible, inimitable... it's the fireworks!
