As part of the ‘P'tites Pépites’ events organised by the Anjou Bleu Tourist Office, a guided tour of the village of Bourg d’Iré.

Discover the charming village of Bourg d’Iré, just a stone’s throw from Segré, whose rich history is closely linked to that of Count Alfred de Falloux, a champion of agricultural development in this rural region and Minister for Education and Religious Affairs in 1848. The guided tour will recount the history of the 11th-century church with its octagonal stone bell tower,
the wash house and the ‘Alfred de Falloux’ castle, interspersed with secrets and anecdotes about the village’s heritage and way of life.
