Le Loir en Fête: Durtal lights up for a magical night!

Concerts, circus, street theatre, nature, food trucks and fireworks… Durtal’s big summer festival is back, and it promises to be unforgettable!

How about getting away from it all for a while? On Saturday 11 July, from 2 pm until 1 am, Durtal will be transformed into a giant open-air stage. From the banks of the Loir to the Saint-Léonard meadow, the whole town becomes a garden, a playground and a dance floor.

In the afternoon, the riverbanks gently come to life: nature walks, unusual shows, acoustic music and family-friendly activities:

- Nature walks & treasure hunt (CPIE): Set off to discover the natural treasures of the banks of the Loir, guided by experts from the CPIE.
- Cécile Gravot (Electroacoustic harps): a moment suspended in time within the enchanting setting of the Jardin du Bout du Monde, to the spellbinding sound of electroacoustic harps.
- Regards & Mémoires de Durtal (André Logeais): Settle into a deckchair by the water’s edge and let yourself be carried away by the memories and history of Durtal.
- Petit DAP (Cie Croche): a tender and offbeat burlesque circus show, sure to make the whole family laugh.
- Le Bar à Mômes (Cie Bam): Completely zany street theatre that pops up where you least expect it!
- Déshydratés (Cie Cercle Karré): an unlikely synchronised swimming display right in the middle of the meadow.

As evening falls, the atmosphere steps up a notch:

- The Banger’s: an explosive mix of funk, soul and blues to set the meadow alight!
- Mezcal Bomba: psycho-tropical rhythms and flavours of Latin America guaranteed to last until the early hours.
- At 11 pm: the sky over Durtal lights up for a fireworks display that’ll be talked about for a long time to come!
