To enter this story, you must first walk through a park, follow its paths, and come across walkers and the animals that live there. In this park, there is a tree.
It’s the tree with branches. It’s a tree whose branches don’t grow upwards towards the sky. They grow horizontally; you can lie down on them – it’s like a hideaway. Curled up amongst these branches, you think about the soapbox race you want to take part in during the park’s annual festival. From up there, you watch your father as he turns this way and that; he doesn’t see you.
In a space where electrical wires and narrative threads intertwine, a little girl discovers that she can say ‘No’ to her father and that, thanks to her friends, there’s no path from which one cannot return.
