With an interest in the life sciences, the author, director and actress Marion Thomas explores new relationships between humans and the animal world. Immersed in a pixelated meadow, reminiscent of a retro video game, the audience becomes ‘moublic’ – a veritable herd on the move.
A wolf attack, a simulated disaster, a final karaoke session: *Faire troupeau* is a journey that is as playful as it is insightful into our instincts for solidarity, challenging common assumptions about human nature and the passivity of the herd.
With biting humour, Marion Thomas invites Bruce Willis, sheep, earthquakes and Gilbert Montagné onto the stage to explore themes of mutual support, vulnerability and collective joy. You’ll leave with a smile and a sense of optimism and hope for our fellow human beings, and no doubt a desire to share moments like this together.
