The General Leclerc de Hauteclocque Memorial Association will be presenting a new exhibition at the community hall in Grugé-l’Hôpital. Exhibition: ‘From Captain de Hauteclocque to General Leclerc in Haut-Anjou (June 1940 – September 1946)’.
An interview with General Leclerc conducted by Manuel Poulet on the liberation of Paris on 12 August 1946 will be broadcast, and amateur films of General Leclerc’s commemorative tour of Dinan on 15 September 1946 will be screened. The outdoor exhibition, featuring photographs, will be set up in Grugé-l’Hôpital along the route taken by General Leclerc on 17 September 1946, from the cemetery to the church and then to the former town hall.
