MONTANA AND THE CCAS OF LE MANS JOIN FORCES TO ORGANISE AN EXCEPTIONAL SENIOR CITIZENS’ FAIR TO MARK ‘SEMAINE BLEUE’ 2026
A completely free event, open to all and packed with activities to celebrate healthy ageing and strengthen intergenerational ties.
To mark the 2026 Semaine Bleue, Montana Le Mans, in partnership with the CCAS of the City of Le Mans, is organising an ambitious Seniors’ Fair, which is entirely free and open to all. Following the resounding success of the previous edition, which welcomed 37 exhibitors and 200 visitors, this new edition promises to be even more dynamic, with a programme focusing on social, regional, digital and physical mobility, as well as friendly activities and themed workshops.
An event promoting healthy ageing and social cohesion
On Friday 9 October 2026, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, the Montana Le Mans assisted living facility will open its doors for a Seniors’ Fair dedicated to mobility for older people. On the programme:
• Exhibitor stands: organisations, schemes, companies and services covering transport, leisure, adapted technologies and specialist partners.
• Themed workshops: an introduction to adapted physical activity, a road safety quiz, a presentation of the activities at the Espace Gambetta run by the CCAS of Le Mans, a karate demonstration by senior citizens and a presentation of the Setram app.
• A dedicated space for residents and their families to enjoy some quality time together.
An exclusive partnership for easier access
To encourage participation, the Montana senior care home and Setram are joining forces for this event to offer:
• A temporary bus stop in front of the care home during the event.
• Free transport* (*Ticket valid only on 9 October 2026; offer reserved for people aged 60 and over, by booking only on 02 52 99 14 00)
“Last year, our Seniors’ Fair brought together more than 200 visitors around shared values: independence, solidarity and the joy of living together. This year’s event, in partnership with the CCAS of the city of Le Mans, promises to be even more ambitious, with a varied programme and strengthened partnerships,” says Fabienne Radiguet, Director of the Montana Le Mans Residence.
