From her lamppost, Philomène the spider watches the world without ever really taking her eyes off it. Passers-by, schoolchildren, dogs, flies… everything intrigues her! On her web, she weaves her thoughts, her questions and her wildest ideas.

Until the day an accident shatters her web to pieces. For the first time, Philomène looks up at the sky and discovers the stars. She’s certain of it: it’s her ideas that are shining up there! And so, a new adventure begins: setting off to meet them.

Blending musical storytelling, visual arts and poetry, this show invites young and old alike to shift their perspective and discover the world from an insect’s vantage point. A praxinoscope, zoetrope, magic lantern and video mapping come together to bring to life a surprising universe, where images seem to emerge from the streetlamp.
