‘Séquence Coréenne’ returns for its second edition at Les Cinéastes cinema: a weekend dedicated to Korean cinema, featuring eight films and a range of workshops (K-pop, Korean paper folding and knot-tying). It’s a whirlwind of powerful emotions and new discoveries… The event is co-organised with volunteers from the Le Mans Korean School association.
Among the films on the programme: on the opening night, Kim Jee-woon’s off-the-wall western *The Good, the Bad and the Crazy*; *Harbin*, a spectacular historical epic never before screened in France; and *The Ugly*, a dark family drama that gradually reveals the cruelties of an era and a society. Thrillers, black comedy, history, personal stories, thrills: the full richness and boldness of Korean cinema – an intense, surprising and exotic journey guaranteed!
