Atelier de fabrication de kantele

As part of the 2026 Changé d’Air festival, which has Norway as its theme, come and take part in a kantele-making workshop.

Väinämöinen, the hero of the Kalevala, a Nordic mythological epic, created a zither: the kantele.
Over five days, learn the art of instrument-making and craft a traditional zither: explore Nordic myths and legends, build the instrument, then learn how to play it.
From gluing the pieces together to tuning it, you’ll create your very own kantele, with guidance from professionals.

No prior experience required. Tools and materials included. Lunch available on site. Ages 15 and over.
From 2 pm to 5 pm on Mondays and from 9 am to 5 pm on other days.
