Discover aquaponics!

On 16 and 17 October 2026, Echologia in Louverné will host the 4th National Exhibition on Ecological Aquaponics, Aquaculture and Hydroponics. Following three successful editions, this event will bring together professionals, scientists, producers, project leaders and enthusiasts to explore new ways of producing food, conserving water and rethinking our diet.

But the fair isn’t just for professionals!
On Saturday 17 October, from 9 am to 6 pm, the venue will open its doors to the general public for a day of discovery, networking and activities. A wonderful opportunity for local residents to visit Echologia once again, discover how it has evolved and explore a world that is still little known: that of aquaponics.
The programme includes plenty to spark the curiosity of young and old alike:
• A tour of the Aquaponia showroom and various aquaponics set-ups;
• The chance to meet the fish, plants and crayfish on site;
• Activities, demonstrations and guided tours;
• Plenty of exhibitors and professionals to meet;
• Lectures open to the general public in the afternoon.
How can we produce food differently? How can we save water? How can we combine fish and plants within the same production system? These are just some of the practical questions that will be addressed throughout the day, through examples, discussions and discoveries.
