Welcome to the fascinating world of Pyjamarama, the famous series of picture books by Frédérique Bertrand and Michaël Leblond. Here, the book becomes an interactive playground. Thanks to the ancient and mesmerising technique of shadow cinema, a simple textured transparent sheet is all it takes to create the illusion of movement. As you move it over the illustrations and cut-out papers, the artwork comes to life, lights up and takes on a life of its own, as if by magic, beneath the fingers of young and old alike.
