Atelier Ombro-Cinéma

Creative workshop: Make your own animated image at the Durtal Media Centre

What if your children’s drawings suddenly came to life, as if by magic?
Away from screens, treat your children to a unique visual experience. The media centre is hosting a creative workshop based on the famous, time-honoured technique of shadow cinema. Guided by a librarian, budding artists will experiment with two fascinating techniques: paper cutting and the illusion of movement.

On the programme for this workshop:
- Creating a unique paper-cut-out character.
- Bringing the drawing to life using a textured transparent sheet (Rhodoïd).

Every child will go home with their own animated creation!
A fun and mesmerising activity that will delight young and old alike. Will you be joining us to bring the magic to life?
