Come and discover the Château de Vaux in Chaumont d'Anjou

The earliest recorded date for Château de Vaux is 1300, when it was founded by Seigneur Salomon de la Chevrière. All that remains of this former 14th century fortified seigneury are the chapel, part of the surrounding wall, the gatehouse and three towers. The dwelling itself was deliberately demolished after the French Revolution to make way for a more comfortable house. Château de Vaux has been in the same family since 1750.
