Mois du Film Documentaire - Projection & Echanges sur le film "Vivants"
Durtal Media Centre: Screening of the film *Vivants* by V. Grange
Dare to step through the door into a moment of rare humanity, one that challenges, comforts and celebrates life with incredible strength.
On the cusp of retirement, Dr Grange is preparing to leave the palliative care unit he built 25 years ago. Through Victor Grange’s camera, you will share the final weeks of this exceptional doctor’s life alongside Cynthia, Didier and Jacqueline. This film is a deeply moving yet intensely tender immersion, bearing witness to the listening, the shared words and that unique bond that unites carers and patients at the end of their journey.
Far more than just a screening, this event is an invitation to reflect together on family, the end of life and our connection to existence.
The screening will take on its full meaning during the special discussion with the director, Victor Grange, organised in partnership with CASSPA 49, and enriched by the differing perspectives of Dr Camille Etesse (doctor) and Ms Carole Saad Durand (psychologist at Angers University Hospital). Come and share your feelings, ask your questions and experience this moment of reflection.
