Je badine avec l'amour (parce que les hommes sont si imparfaits et si affreux) - Le Cargo

Sylvain Riéjou and the Cliché association present the show "Je badine avec l'amour (parce que les hommes sont si imparfaits et si affreux)", Friday 13 February 2025 at 8.30pm at Le Cargo in Segré.

While the title is partly inspired by one of the best-known quotes from Musset's famous play, it all began the day Sylvain Riéjou discovered Dirty Dancing, Emile Ardolino's cult film.

This project questions the place of dance in romantic encounters and, more generally, the relationship between the body and sensual encounters. With intelligence and delicacy, the choreographer gets the message across: love has no gender, no sex, it's simply universal.

This piece will begin as a solo, but as it progresses three other dancers (one man and two women) will be called onto the stage.
