Affabulations ! – Les Dramaticules

When a rehearsal for La Fontaine's Fables goes off the rails... A cheeky, light-hearted satire on the trials and tribulations of the dramatic arts.

A director and two actors introduce themselves to us: they suggest we think about how we can interpret La Fontaine's Fables today. While the audience is invited to react, egos are shaken and the rehearsal gets out of control... Where does the play begin and the fiction end?
Improvisations, theatrics, blurring the boundaries between stage and reality: the Dramaticules leave nothing to chance as they turn the famous fables into a moment of jubilant hybrid theatre. It's also a brilliant reflection on pretense, the quest for authenticity and our own expectations as spectators.
