Atelier "Créé ton blason"

As part of an artist's residency that began in spring 2025, the artist Lucas Desmesures is meeting different audiences in all the communes of the Val de Sarthe to mark the 30th anniversary of the Communauté de communes.

The aim? To give artistic expression to the identity of the area by creating symbols, coats of arms and flags, which will be exhibited at the Centre d'Art de l'île Moulin-Sart from June to early August 2026. After a guided tour of the exhibition, participants will be invited to devise their own symbolic vocabulary, using cutting and collage techniques to create a coat of arms in their own image.
