Starting with a thin brass plate, you will discover the art of creating relief and drawing in metal. You'll create an attractive hanging decoration while having a great time.

Course of the workshop :

- Welcome and presentation of the key stages of the workshop
- A brief history of the technique in the history of art
- Creation of your motif from an image bank or your own inspiration
- Embossing
- Finishing, decorating, fitting the hanging system

The workshop includes :

- Knowledge and advice on embossed metal
- All the materials you need (brass sheet, tools, styli, felt, etc.)
- You leave with your own beautiful decoration
- 1 local drink and 1 local pastry (Infusions Bios La Mare (72210), Café BOC (Le Mans), Pâtisseries Le Chaudon de Salem (Le Mans))


To prepare your workshop:

You can think about your personal motif before the workshop.
It should be no larger than A4.
As the decoration is as thin as paper, remember to take a hard case with you.
