To mark the ‘Water in the Spotlight’ theme of the Cité Plantagenêt Plant Festival, I invite you to discover the world of aromatic and medicinal plants through a herbal tea-blending workshop. Through exploring the plants, their scents, tasting and blending, I’ll guide you step by step to create your own blend.
You’ll leave with a unique herbal tea, created just the way you like it.

Workshop programme:

• Welcome and introduction to aromatic and medicinal plants

• An introduction to the key steps in creating a herbal tea

• Selecting plants according to your tastes and preferences

• Blending and packaging your mixture

At the end of this workshop, you’ll leave with your personalised herbal tea, ready to enjoy!

The workshop includes:

• Knowledge and advice on aromatic and medicinal plants, as well as the art of blending herbal tea
• All the equipment needed to create your blend (plants, scales, containers, tea bags, labels, etc.)
• Each participant leaves with their own personalised herbal tea
• A herbal tea tasting accompanied by a local treat
• A summary sheet detailing the plants explored, brewing advice and the steps involved in creating your blend
