Concours Acoustique & Design Sonore 2026 : Cérémonie de remise des Trophées

Every two years, the Le Mans Sonore Competition rewards projects and research carried out in two distinct fields: Acoustics and Sound Design. The prizes will be presented to the winners at the awards ceremony on Friday 23 January 2026 at 5pm at the Carré Plantagenêt.

The awards ceremony, to be held on Friday 23 January 2026, will honour the winners in the various categories of the Acoustics and Sound Design competition

For the Acoustics trophies :

- Young researchers (thesis): Concerns all research projects carried out over the last 3 to 5 years involving fundamental or finalised acoustic/mechanical waves.
- Students : Concerns all student projects less than 2 years old involving acoustics. The project may involve a new object or material, or an innovative method or software.

For the Sound Design Awards :

- Radio France: As in 2024, Radio France is commissioning a creation to be produced. For this 2026 edition, the sound creation request concerns a Radio France sonal "Alerte application ICI".
- Objects and services: This concerns sound creations integrated into industrial objects or services, whether software or hardware.
- Interactive Devices: Concerns only devices combining sound, space and audience participation.

The prizes will be awarded by two international expert juries.
