Spring is already on its way! With the arrival of the cooler months, our feathered friends are busy looking for the perfect shelter. Why not give them a helping hand by setting up a proper five-star hotel in your garden or on your balcony?
We invite you to take part in our birdbox-building workshop – a hands-on, useful and eco-friendly activity to enjoy on your own, with friends or with the family.
On the agenda for this session:
• Step-by-step construction: guided by the kindness and good humour of Frédéric, our workshop leader, you’ll assemble your very own wooden birdbox. No DIY skills are required – Frédéric will be on hand to show you the right techniques in complete safety!
• Discovering biodiversity: beyond the hammer and screws, Frédéric will share his valuable advice with you. You’ll learn what size entrance hole to choose to attract blue tits or sparrows, how to position your birdbox to protect the chicks from the elements, and how to look after it throughout the seasons.
• The joy of taking your creation home: at the end of the workshop, you’ll take your birdbox home with you, ready to be put up so you can watch its inhabitants.
