Courses hippiques en Semi-nocturne à l'hippodrome du Lion d'Angers

Semi-Night Horse Races at the Lion d'Angers Racecourse, Friday 5th June 2026.

The Association des Courses du Lion d'Angers invites you to a weekend of racing, starting on Friday 5 June at the Hippodrome de l'Isle-Briand with a premium race meeting.

The action gets underway at 2.40pm with a rich programme of 9 races combining flat and jump events. Following on from the success of the world's longest cross-country race, the Prix Piano de la Juiverie, a 4,500-metre cross-country race, will be one of the sporting highlights of the day.
Spectators will also be treated to a school race to open the programme, showcasing young talent and future jockeys.

On Sunday, the racehorses will give way to the ponies, as a meeting of races
will be entirely devoted to them from 1.00pm. Under the aegis of the Association Poneys au Galop, admission to the day's events will be free.
