Faites Lire ! Fête de la Lecture

FAITES LiRE! is the must-attend cultural event of the new literary season.

With ‘FAITES LiRE!’, the City of Le Mans reaffirms its status as a cultural hub and forges a strong link between reading and the arts for all generations. Combining a reading festival for all with a book fair of national significance, all the conditions are in place to offer a rich, open and accessible celebration of reading for as many people as possible, as the week’s events and entry to the fair are free.

Cyril Pedrosa is the guest of honour at the 2026 edition of the Faites Lire ! festival.
