Festi PEPS à Château-Gontier

Festi PEPS – a day for fun and socialising!

A day to get to know and engage with the Le PEPS Community Centre in the Pays de Château-Gontier – that’s what’s on offer at the Festi PEPS, which will take place on Saturday 24 October 2026 from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at the Espace Saint-Fiacre.

Come along to the very first Festi PEPS! The aim is to introduce visitors to the workshops on offer and the partners who are vital to the life of the social centre, by hosting a lively, vibrant day that’s open to everyone from 0 to 100 years old! (or even older)

A range of unique and fun activities will also be on offer:
- A play area: featuring inflatable structures, pedal go-kart tracks, puzzle trails, party games and trampolines, as well as other surprises!
- For the very youngest: a dedicated area with activities to develop motor skills and pour-and-transfer tasks (fine motor skills).
- For older children, introductory sessions are also on the programme, featuring workshops already offered at PEPS: such as gardening, knitting, writing or sewing. But there are also circus arts workshops!

At the heart of PEPS is the aim to foster connections and a sense of community amongst residents. What better way to chat amongst yourselves and with others over syrup, tea, sweets and candyfloss than in a dedicated space! A catering area, run by a local charity, is also planned.

You’ll also find a space where you can meet the various organisers and partners who keep PEPS going all year round.

The central theme of the day will be a participatory mural led by a visual artist. The finished piece will subsequently be exhibited in the towns of the Pays de Château-Gontier.

Other activities are planned for the day, including music from SolOrkestar and storytelling with Anita Tollemer – with more surprises to come…!
