Colours, tastes, toys, clothes: what, from childhood onwards, distinguishes the masculine from the feminine? Marion Rouxin and Éric Doria ask the question and then suggest another, in music: what if, without worrying about representations, we simply tried to be ourselves?
In a dozen or so sung portraits, accompanied on guitar and set to the rhythm of body percussion, the duo sketch a pretty palette of funny, endearing and free characters. By gleefully shaking up stereotypes, they also tenderly pave the way for family discussions on these themes. A lively, refreshing concert!
