An action research project dedicated to the challenges of preventing injury to circus artists’ bodies throughout their careers.

Two days of academic discussion open to all, bringing together practitioners from the circus and research sectors; an event dedicated to sharing knowledge and experiences.

Research Forum #2 is devoted to the ‘second age’ of the circus artist’s body. It will focus on the challenges of preparation and recovery in the pursuit of an artistic and physical activity characterised by varying work patterns: periods of intensity as well as lulls, injuries and breaks in activity.
