Come and discover the La Pouëze slate quarry during the European Heritage Days on 19 and 20 September 2026.

This wooden structure built over a well is a listed historic monument. The only one of its kind in France, it is a symbol of La Pouëze's slate quarrying past, with a trail marked out by explanatory panels (free walk all year round).
Saturday and Sunday // 2.30pm to 5pm
Guided tour of the Espérance slate quarry and the machinery room, showing of a film explaining the machinist's trade and exhibition of slate quarry tools.
In partnership with the association "Si La Pouëze m'était contée".
