Journées Européennes du Patrimoine - Chapelle Notre Dame de la Garde

It is a small pilgrimage building that originally belonged to the Château du Verger. It was founded in the 14th century by the chatelain, Hugues Le Jan. The Comte de Cherisey, mayor of Seiches from 1925 to 1942, donated it to the commune.
It has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1973. Abandoned for more than twenty years, it was in need of major work to save it, including a complete overhaul of the roof.
