Overlooking the Loir valley and facing the Boudré forest, Château de Montreuil was built in 1848 by the famous Angevin architect René Hodé. It was commissioned by the Gohin de Montreuil family on the site of a former castle, of which two remarkable features still remain: a 16th-century dovecote and a 14th-century chapel.
An exceptional vantage point overlooking the Loir valley, this is a real natural postcard of the local landscape.
