The Augustinian Priory of La Roë was founded by Bishop Rainaud de Martigné in the first half of the 12th century. The dwelling and chapel were built in 1523 by Abbot Guy Le Clerc, chaplain to Anne of Brittany. Detailed historical and architectural presentation of the exterior of the buildings and the interior of the two chapels (Romanesque and Renaissance).
