Journées Européennes du Patrimoine - Visite du château de Dobert

Château de Dobert: one family, one story. Walk in the park, guided tour of the château and various activities.

To mark the 2025 European Heritage Days, you will be welcomed to Dobert by the family who have lived there since the mid-15th century.
This year’s event is dedicated to ‘architectural heritage’, a theme that fits perfectly with Dobert Castle and the buildings surrounding it.
As well as a guided tour of the ground floor of the castle and the chapel, visitors will be free to explore the wooded grounds and the banks of the Vègre, and discover the aqueduct – the remains of an 18th-century hydraulic machine that has recently been restored.

But Heritage Days in Dobert have more to offer:

Where is the Chevalier de Bastard’s treasure hidden? A treasure hunt in the park and around the château awaits children aged 4 to 10. A prize is on offer for every participant.

Finally, the “Passé-simple” association from Sablé/Sarthe will be exhibiting its photographs of the local heritage this weekend.

Guided tours start at: Saturday: 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm / Sunday: 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
