Journées Nationales de l'Architecture 2026 : Portes ouvertes au CAUE de la Sarthe

To mark National Architecture Days, the CAUE de la Sarthe is opening its doors! Come and explore its facilities, the ‘Matière Grise’ exhibition, and a range of publications dedicated to topics including regeneration.

The Sarthe Council for Architecture, Urban Planning and the Environment is opening its doors!

As part of the National Architecture Days, the CAUE is offering self-guided tours of its premises and recent refurbishments: the documentation centre, with its reused and repurposed furniture, and the large meeting room with its raw earth plastered wall. These features help to showcase construction expertise and the work of professionals.

The documentation centre also highlights publications related to the national theme ‘Renovate: building the future’, which can be consulted on site, in the garden!

During these open days, architects will offer free advice – subject to registration – on all your development projects.

You’ll also be able to explore part of the ‘Matière Grise’ exhibition, produced by the Pavillon de l’Arsenal, which showcases projects and initiatives related to the reuse of materials in construction.
