Both singular and multifaceted, Leïla Martial takes the audience into her inner worlds. As much a child clown as a lyrical woman, she brings her worlds together by invoking Bach from the neck of a bottle of wine, switching from French to English and Spanish, or using one of those crazy languages she's so good at, exploding in volutes of unimaginable imaginary timbres, punctuated by droll confessions about Bach's play and other subjects taken on the fly.

Nourished by her travels among the gypsies and pygmies, jazz vocalist Leïla Martial, singular and multiple, visits her inner territories to better awaken the spirits. Alone on stage in her nymph gown and bushy crown, ancient creature, clown or lyrical woman, she plunges into the bath of emotions with a rare spontaneity that is as poignant as it is extravagant.
