KOMPROMAT is the alliance of Vitalic and Rebeka Warrior (Sexy Sushi, Mansfield.TYA). Their debut album Traum und Existenz, released in 2019 on Clivage Music (Vitalic's label), laid the foundations for a dark, hard-hitting universe. In January 2025, they return with PLAYING / PRAYING on Warriorecords, the label founded by Rebeka Warrior. This new album explores themes such as prayer (pagan or otherwise), funerary rites, passages between different worlds, but also the pleasures of the flesh, dance and ecstasy - like a divine invocation through music. The genres are mixed: EBM, Cold Wave, New Wave and radical techno. The duo have fun blurring boundaries. Where German accompanied the first album, this time it's English that carries their new stories.
