With *Le Concert impromptu*, classical music becomes child’s play – accessible to everyone!
Performing on stages across France and internationally since 1991, this wind quintet stands out for its quirky and sparkling style, which breathes new life into the classical repertoire. Through this programme, they playfully introduce us to the secrets of sound and the subtleties of interpretation. From Mozart’s *A Little Night Music* to Dvořák’s *American Quintet*, via Mendelssohn’s *Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream*, the works take on a new colour, both accessible and delightful. After this, it’s hard not to see classical music in a different light.
For the final piece on the programme, Le Concert impromptu will be joined by Henri Roman on the bassoon, director of the Conservatoire du Pays sabolien.
