On the programme: a guided tour of old Segré. With over 1,000 years of history, the town of Segré has seen battle during the Hundred Years' War, the Wars of Religion and the Chouannerie. But it was above all in the 19th and 20th centuries that Segré experienced a tremendous boom thanks to its industries, its railway station, its river trade and its sub-prefecture. Discover the history of this small medieval town, which became the capital of Haut-Anjou, through its urban heritage.
