Les Rendez-vous Nature en Anjou - Plantes sauvages en kayak

RDV_nature_2026 - Le Lion d'Angers - FMA - 49 - ©Dep49

Discover the wild plants of the Espace Naturel Sensible de la Vallée de la Mayenne by kayak on Sunday 14 June 2026 at 10am.

After getting to grips with the kayak, set off downstream. Sailing on the river will help you to calm down and open up your senses, which are very useful for meeting plants. The walk will be guided by Noëlle Piquet from Nature et Simples, during which she will talk about the specific features of the riparian environment and the challenges of wild gathering. You will be able to identify a number of plants and learn how to recognise them on your own. Their traditional uses, their virtues for well-being and their uses in cooking will also be discussed. The walk ends with a tasting of a "wild" drink.
