Marché de l'Anjou
The Marché de l’Anjou is back for its 8th edition!
‘Produit en Anjou’ invites you to join us on Sunday 20 September, from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm, at Place Michel Debré in Angers, for a day celebrating local produce, craftsmanship and a friendly atmosphere.
Organised with the support of the Maine-et-Loire Department, this annual event is an opportunity to discover and meet the people who bring our region to life every day.
Artisans, producers and designers from Angers will be on hand to introduce you to their worlds and their products: delicacies, crafts, cosmetics, original creations… There’ll be something for everyone!
Once again this year, Angers’ folklore and traditions will take centre stage with:
- The donkeys from the Asinerie du Dolmen will also be making the journey, much to the delight of young and old alike!
- The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Sacavin d’Anjou et de Saumur will be offering a selection of wines from our region
- The Ambassade des Confréries Régionales will be strolling through the market aisles in traditional costume
And because a wonderful day in Anjou is also all about the food, Pascal Favre d’Anne and the Confrérie de la Gouline will be welcoming you to a special menu showcasing ‘gouline’, Anjou’s iconic dish.
