Morannes in celebration: tractor parade, Christmas market and fireworks display

Let yourself be swept away by the magic of Christmas in Morannes. The Festival Committee has put together two days of togetherness and culinary delights to be enjoyed to the full with family or friends.

On the programme:
From 6 pm on Saturday evening, keep your eyes peeled for a unique spectacle: the parade of illuminated tractors. To the
festive and lively rhythm of the Moracha’go band, the procession will set off from the care home, winding its way along the Grande Rue,
Rue de Bel Air and Rue des Moulins, before lighting up the Town Hall square. To round off this magical evening, head to the banks of the Sarthe at 7 pm for a spectacular fireworks display.

On Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm, the festivities continue at the Salle des Fêtes (Route d’Angers). Stroll through the aisles of a Christmas market, where you’ll have the chance to unearth handmade gifts and savour delicious local specialities. The little ones will be starry-eyed thanks to the special appearance of a mascot, whilst food lovers will feast on crêpes, takeaway meals and seasonal treats. Come and experience the first real thrill of the festive season!
