To mark the start of its new season, the Cargo has chosen an offbeat and irresistible talk show, on Friday 18 September 2026 at 8.00 pm, at the Cargo in Segré

Mapping 7 / Or how the rabbit raises some truly fascinating questions that help us understand a whole host of things about today’s world (Homo sapiens, ecology, the virus and the parenthesis).

From the rabbit hutch to factory farming, from the invasive species that has destroyed numerous ecosystems to the resilient rabbits of Kerguelen, from the one sent into space in 1959 by the Russians to the victims of the serial killer on the Côtes d’Armor, from the soft toys that sit cheerfully on our children’s beds to those we will eventually end up eating and drinking as plastic rains down, rabbits never cease to challenge
the limits of our world. Burdened with numerous ills, have they become one of the signs of the planet’s poor health, a marker of the processes of impoverishment and extinction of life, and ultimately, of themselves?

But are rabbits really that daft? The question is, of course, a crucial one.
